ZEITECS: LIFTING EXPECTATIONS

ZEiTECS has been formed to help raise and achieve increased expectations of artificial lift performance. Our vision is to change the way that AL systems are deployed, by applying innovative technologies to the challenges that face operators today and in the future.

Already, 93% of active wells worldwide are lifted by some means of AL. This can only increase, as subsurface assets experience declining reservoir pressure and increasing water cut.

Our first technology platform, the ZEiTECS Shuttle, aims to complement manufacturers’ achievements in increasing runlife, by providing the means to retrieve and replace the ESP through unique downhole and wireline technology.

For an increasing number of high production rate, low GOR oil wells, ESP technology is the only viable Artificial Lift option. In an ideal world, it will be the preferred option for the majority of all future deployments. The world, however, is not ideal. ESPs are required to perform in increasingly challenging conditions, as wells are becoming deeper and hotter and under higher pressure; environments are becoming harsher, in deeper waters and arctic locations; and well fluids more difficult.

The ZEiTECS Shuttle will help meet the rapidly growing demand for high-performance ESP systems. We are developing further technologies that will address other critical Artificial Lift challenges.
